Blog achieved. Entertainment value at a critical low!

My name is Blake. This is my blog. I'm in a pretty mellow mood right now, so this will be my "mellow mood" blog. Hence the song. I might make a second blog for when I'm less mellow, but for now this is it.

I live in an unspecified part of Utah, which is unfortunate, but it's pretty here, so I don't usually mind. The weather here is currently awful, fluctuating between warm rainy days (which I love, except my method of transportation makes it awful) and freezing sunny, cloudless ones.

I live with my cat, Gizmo, who is a ferocious beast, and my best friend, Cameron, who is one of very few people I've met that shares a sense of humor with me. I spend most nights with my girlfriend, Reilly, who is an artist of words. She suggested I start this blog, which is why I'm here.

I'm gonna be straight with you. I don't know how often I'll update this, but I've got a lot more freetime these days, so if I do keep it updated, it will get more interesting, I promise. I figure I'll mostly post about music and video games and Reilly, three things which I am avidly fanatic about.

I may post drawings and doodles occasionally, which is something I like to do, though I'm entirely inept when it comes to colors or digital media. I just like to sketch.

Oh, by the way, the band from the YouTube link is called Broken Bells and are fairly new, as far as I'm aware. They are the singer of The Shins whose name escapes me, and one of my favorite artists, Danger Mouse, who is one half of both Gnarls Barkley and Dangerdoom. I advise checking out all of the previously mentioned artists, as they are all phenomenal.

Anyway, it's almost 1 and I'm pretty tired, though I won't kid myself saying I'm going to bed now. I'll be back around Thursday though, so hang tight and maybe I'll have a theme by then, or at least something to spice this place up.
